Class description: New! Michigan has a lot of shoreline and watersheds to protect. And as we know, rain events are getting more dramatic. Shorelines are always changing. This lesson aims to provide students with concepts and techniques to reduce risk to water resources through nature-inspired shoreline management practices! Come learn multiple strategies from small to large scale sites to improve water quality, and how we as a community can make a difference in sustaining our beautiful lakes and shorelines. Held rain or shine!

Meeting location: Historic Barns Park “Workshop 223” – From Silver Drive entrance, make a Left at the first stop sign, first building on the left. Look for the SEEDS flags!

*This course qualifies towards the Northern Naturalist Certificate.
