Class Description: New! Building upon the base-knowledge gained in Watch Your Waste 101, we will continue our waste literacy journey! Expect to go beyond recycling talk in this session by driving down to some of the root causes of our waste issues–overconsumption and lack of community. Learn about multiple methods to decrease waste while building relationships, skills, and habits to first prevent waste from even being made to begin with. Besides walking away with fresh approaches and concrete actions to enact in your own home, you will also be equipped to champion sustainable actions in your neighborhood. Attending the Watch Your Waste 101 class prior to this class is recommended.
