A sense of community!
After retiring from the special education system, my 30-plus years felt like I was not ready to let go from working with children. I love the afternoon hours! It fits my feeling of being semi-retired. I enjoy being a life time learner and the energy from the students.

Being able to work intimately with crews and teach them the skills I’ve learned from the trades has been fantastic. I hope to do even more of this in the future. Seeing the engagement and excitement as crew members learn the concepts of timber framing has been a great experience!
