One of the most common questions that SEEDS EcoCorps staff gets at the farmer’s market is: “do you sell seeds?” It seems a natural conclusion to ask of folks sitting beneath a tent emblazoned with ‘SEEDS’!
To us, SEEDS is an acronym for Seeking Ecological [and] Education Design Solutions, and it’s how we describe the work we do across EcoCorps, EcoStrategies, and EcoSchool programming for our communities.
SEEDS EcoSchool students decorated seed packets and gently included a mix of Michigan pollinator-friendly wildflowers and grasses, provided by Native Connections.

The selected wildflowers will bloom throughout the growing season and provide diverse food and habitat resources for pollinator insects and other wildlife.
Planting Instructions:
– Plant in dry and sunny areas by raking the ground, spreading by hand, and gently raking over, or gently pressing seeds into the dirt.
