About Our EcoSchool Programs

SEEDS EcoSchool provided thousands of contact hours of quality learning opportunities in the 2018/19 school year and summer of 2019 including:
  • 23,825 hours of academics & Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) programming
  • 2,614 hours of arts & culture activities
  • 13,163 hours of physical activity
  • 6,064 hours of special events and field trips for continued learning
  • 10,725 hours of youth development programming 
Overall, compared to the state average, surveyed SEEDS EcoSchool students reported more:
  • Opportunities for increasing health awareness (89% SEEDS EcoSchool: 79% State)
  • Quality peer interaction (76% SEEDS EcoSchool: 73% State)
  • Adult support (85% SEEDS EcoSchool: 79% State)
  • Academic enrichment activities (74% SEEDS EcoSchool: 64% State)
