SEEDS crews worked to construct an outdoor classroom at Northport Public Schools. The outdoor learning space consisted of a 20 x 24 foot hoop house, bed boxes made of black locust, and gardens. This structure allowed for students at Northport Public Schools to grow plants and food for cooking programs and for the school lunch programs. It will also provide for an outdoor science learning and classroom workspace.
